Field Operations Division
The PTSI Field Operations Division (FOD) implements the National Tuberculosis Control Program (NTP) by adopting the DOTS strategy as its focal point in its anti-TB programs. It offers community-based services in TB control such as case finding, case holding through the DOTS strategy, health education, and training courses on NTP-DOTS implementation.
Quezon Institute
The PTSI recently partnered with the Tropical Disease Foundation (TDF) to extend the term of a joint research project on multi-drug resistant TB for another six months. The research project seeks to advance the objectives of the Programmatic Management of Drug Resistant TB (PMDT) in the country.Under the memorandum of understanding between the two organizations.
